You can contact me at the UK Phone Counselling Service today, Wednesday 8th September: 0116 2395245 or email marina@primarycounselling.co.uk
Just 3 Easy Steps:
The Phone Counselling Service helps and supports people all over the UK through:Loss, Death, Bereavement and Grief.... Stress, Depressive feelings and Anxiety... Intimacy and Relationship Problems....
Anger, desolation, guilt, intense sorrow, regret, isolation, envy, desperation, fear, shame, hopelessness...
It may feel almost overwhelming at times. This UK wide telephone service was created to support you through the most painful of emotional experiences you may ever have to endure. In whatever ways you are struggling to cope, with whatever emotions and wherever you are, we may be able to help you.
Why call Primary Counselling?
People often feel awkward or embarrassed to seek help. They feel they should be able to cope without - 'I'm not that bad, surely'. Yet when it feels intolerable, it can be really helpful to talk to someone who is not directly affected or involved in your life. It is not uncommon for people to hold back from those that they would normally turn to for support - for all sorts of good reasons.
You may not know what to say or where to begin.
You may feel worried about crying. You may not feel like saying very much at all... Not only are our counsellors professionally trained to understand the complexity of emotional distress, they are compassionate and sensitive human beings. And there are times when life hits so hard; we need the non-judgemental acceptance, care and real emotional understanding from a fellow human being.
Primary Counselling is a private counselling practice.
We are not funded by the NHS, nor do we receive grants. We do try to keep our Telephone Counselling Service as affordable as possible. We hope you understand that costs associated with the running of a professional service are an inevitable reality.
You can call the practice number from 9.00am to 10.00pm every day: 01455 821753 or 0116 2395245
including weekends and bank holidays. You can then arrange a session time with the counsellor and be given either the low-cost 0845 number or an 0116 number to use.
Our Telephone Counselling and Bereavement Support Service offers you the opportunity to talk in confidence to one of our professionally trained and experienced counsellors, irrespective of where you live within the UK.
Whatever your circumstances and whatever feelings you are struggling to cope with, talking from the comfort of your own home, to someone who won't judge you and who is impartial, can feel enormously supportive and helpful.
Many people find the therapeutic effects from a single telephone session to be helpful. They take something from the call, often feeling it is sufficient at that time. This may be a sense of relief, increased hope or a shift in perspective. But mainly they take away a feeling that they were really heard and that all their conflicting and confusing feelings were accepted.
It could be that sometimes people need to talk to a counsellor on the phone before they are ready to take up face to face counselling. In a sense they feel they need to experience how it feels to talk about deeply personal issues, their pain or worries. A single therapeutic encounter can be experienced as a really helpful first step in the right direction.
We place value in the usefulness of an 'Open Door' policy to call again if there is a need. People say they experience this as respectful, reassuring and also empowering.
Phone Counselling Feels Less Inhibiting
In times of pain and distress many people find they are able to talk more freely over the telephone than face to face. Phone-based counselling/support can be experienced by some as a way of accessing help that feels less daunting, embarrassing or uncomfortable than meeting with a counsellor in a consulting room. And on those really difficult days you don't need to get ready to face people........
Phone Counselling is Private and Discreet - no getting ready to face the world
Because you don't physically meet, unlike face to face counselling with a local therapist or counsellor, there is no risk of you running into your counsellor as you go about your daily life. There is no need to justify to colleagues, friends or family where you go to or why.
Phone Counselling is Affordable and Convenient
Telephone Counselling and Support saves you time and money. The £25.00 fee for a 45 minute session makes this an affordable way to access help. And importantly, you have the reassurance that you will be talking with a trained professional.
We offer you the flexibility of talking when it suits you best - all from the comfort, privacy and security of your own home.
Your counsellor will give you either the 0845 or 0116 telephone number when you call to book a time. This means you will only be charged a low-cost local rate, (from a landline) regardless of where you call from within the UK.
Telephone Counselling and Bereavement Support is a Professional Service run by Qualified and Experienced Practitioners
Our counsellors are members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, a professional regulatory body, and work within their ethical guidelines for good practice. This means you will be talking to a named counsellor who is professionally qualified. Our daily work involves helping people through the most painful of human experiences..........
We are committed to offering help and support that is right for you. If we don't think we can help or feel that telephone counselling is not best suited to meet your current needs, we will always try to suggest alternative sources of support.
Phone Counselling is Easily Accessible....
from the safety of your own home.... Our aim is to offer you the help you need wherever you live in the UK. We therefore aim to offer you the flexibility of choosing a time that suits, from 9.00am to 10.00pm 7 days a week.
Call 0116 2395245 or email marina@primarycounselling.co.uk if you prefer.
You can talk with a counsellor and book a session time to suit you. This may be within an hour, later the same day or the following day. We do our best to match what you feel you need right now.
Please be assured that we are not set up like a busy call-centre. Because we are a personal and private counselling practice there may be times when we invite you to leave a message. Please do - one of the counsellors will ring you back within a short space of time.
Payment may then be made through PayPal. Scroll down to 'Please Make Payment Here'. YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT to make payment.
And that's it - straightforward.
As you would expect we take emotional health very seriously. The Terms and Conditions for telephone counselling are designed to protect both you and your counsellor from any potential misunderstandings. It is important that you understand and agree.
Wherever you are in the UK and whatever your life circumstances, be assured that you will be sharing your world with a non-judgemental, respectful and compassionate counsellor.
